A customer from Fujian, China, ordered a bottom weighing bulk bagging machine. They need to fill and weigh a food additive.

▎1. Manufacturing Bulk Bagging Machine
The material has high environmental requirements, and the workshop is a high standard cleanroom. All persons who enter the workshop must wear gloves, hats, shoe covers etc. and are then air showered before entering the workshop.
In addition to this, the entire workshop is of a low height, and dust extraction ducts are provided. To meet the above site conditions and production requirements, we built an all stainless steel bottom weighing jumbo bag bagging machine with dust extraction and bag blowing system.
▎2. Commissioning Bulk Bagging Machine
When the equipment arrived at the customer’s plant, our commissioning engineer Allen Zhou (Fitter Leader) also arrived to commission the customer’s bulk filling and weighing system.
2.1 Commissioning
The whole process took 2 days, with the first day spent assembling all the equipment and connecting the various pipes.
The commissioning of the filling and weighing was completed the next day to ensure the bulk bagging system could operate properly.
2.2 Transferring Bulk Bags
When the entire packing process is complete, the pallets are moved off the weighing platform by a forklift truck.
2.3 Weighing Test
The bulk bag packing scales from wxtytech use high precision load cells and can achieve an accuracy of ±0.2%.
Because it is gravity fed, there is a slight weight deviation when closing the silo, but the accuracy requirements can be met after parameter adjustment.
The test weight was 500 kg, and the test results met the requirements. The customer is delighted with our products and services.
▎3. Operating Procedure for Tonne Bag Scales
In addition to our installation and commissioning services, we also offer a free training service.
Allen Zhou was on hand to guide the staff in the operation of the tonnage scales. He created a copy of the operating procedures for them to familiarise themselves with the operation further.
3.1 Operating Procedures
- Make sure that the power and air supply are correctly connected.
- Make sure that there is no debris around the weighing mechanism.
- Turn on the power button switch of the electronic control cabinet, the instrument enters the standby state.
- Lightly press the “start” button of the electronic control cabinet.
- Press the “close/unhook” button of the electronic control cabinet.
- Touch the “bagging switch” when the bagging is finished.
- The equipment enters the working state, starts to rise the bag, feed, weighs, weighing ends, collects/decoupling, clamping the bag, automatically opens.
- The hydraulic trolley removes the bags.
A workflow is completed.
3.2 Cautions
- The operator needs to be careful when touching the “bag clamping switch”.
- Install a hydraulic trolley stopper directly in front of the weighing mechanism to avoid damage to the weighing mechanism by accidental operation. (emphasis added)
- When moving the bags out of the hydraulic trolley, the operator must pay attention to the bags in moving them out to avoid hooking on the bag, clamping, opening and hanging the bag device. (emphasis)
- To ensure proper equipment hygiene at the end of the shift/shift changeover.
