▎1. Project Introduction

1.1 What is the Fully Automatic Bagging Line
There are two criteria to determine whether it is a fully automatic packaging line: 1. Whether it has the function of loading bags automatically. 2. Whether it has the function of feeding bags automatically.
When you use the semi-automatic bagging machine, you need workers manually load the open-mouth bags on the discharge port. Workers must manually send the bags into the sewing track when the filling is finished.
The fully automatic line achieves complete automation. It only needs workers to put the bags in the designated position. The machine automatically loads the bags, fills them, weighs them, sends them into the sewing machine, then shaping, inspecting, conveying, coding, palletizing, and wrapping. Finally, removing the pallets by forklift.
1.2 Automatic Bag Loading Part
The process of loading bags is composed of three parts: sucking up + opening + snapping. The machine needs to suck up the bag, open the bag and load it on the outlet, and then clamp the bag and the outlet.
As shown in the video, the automatic loading bags mechanism is a gripper made up of three suction cups, which are responsible for picking up the bag, and we have added an extra iron clamp function to fix the two ends of the bag.
Then using the suction cups to open the bag’s mouth and put the outlet into the bag to start feeding and weighing.
1.3 Automatic Bag Sending Part
After filling and weighing, the bag feeding mechanism will send the bag into the bag closing track.
The bag feeding mechanism comprises two bag support arms and a conveyor belt. The support arms on both sides hold the bag and then feed the bag mouth into the conveyor belt. The conveyor and the conveyor belt cooperate to send the bag into the closing rail to complete the sewing and sealing process.
1.4 Bag Virbrating Part
We are equipped with a bag vibrating part to ensure the material is filled into the bag evenly.
After filling the material, the small platform under the bag will be driven by the motor and move up and down in the vertical direction, thus driving the bag to move up and down as well, which will have the effect of vibration so that the material can be more evenly distributed in the bag.
1.5 Explosion-proof Electrical Cabinet
Since the material to be packaged was in powder form and was active, the machine needed to be made explosion-proof. We did the explosion-proof upgrade for the customer’s machine and upgraded the electrical cabinet to an explosion-proof one.
1.6 Electric Cabinet Wiring
Quality products can show quality in detail, and we always require that all the rows of wires be neat and standardized.

1.7 Automatic Bag Sealing & Sewing Machine
The automatic bag sealing machine is also standard for fully automatic bagging machines. It comprises a heat sealing machine and a bag sewing machine, with an additional optional bag folding machine.
The bag follows the track into the sewing process and then into the heat sealing process to complete the bag closing process.
1.8 Optional Automation Equipment
In addition to these automatic equipment described above, the customer has optional other automated machines.
Bag shaping machine. Used to flatten the bags after the end of closing for easy bag palletizing.
Weight checking and rejecting machines. Used to ensure that the bag weight meets the requirements during the conveying process, and if the bag weight does not meet the requirements, the rejection machine will push the bag out of the line.
Automatic palletizing robots. Fully automated robot arms automatically identify bags and palletize them in a pre-set pattern.
Automatic wrapping machine. It will automatically rotate the pallet and wrap the film around the outside of the bag to secure the pallet and prevent the bag from falling during transportation.
▎2. Debugging Process
Because the customer needed the machine urgently, to finish the production early and ship the machine to the customer. So we worked overtime at night to debug the machine for the customer.
We tested the process, including loading, sending, and filling bags. The rest parts can be debugged at the customer’s site.
The whole bagging process is as follows: firstly, put the bags in the designated position, then the bags are sucked up with suction cups, opened, and loaded on the discharge port. After filling and weighing, the robot arms will send bags into the closing track to finish the subsequent steps.
Finish all works, we load all the mechanical parts on the truck, cover them with rain cloth and prepare them to be shipped to the port.
