1.4 Conveyor

The customer ordered an additional set of inclined sidewall conveyor to transfer the material. We tested this conveyor prior to delivery to ensure that the conveyor system could operate at high speed and in a stable manner.
This conveyor system has additional wavy belts on both sides of the conveyor belt. As the belt conveyor needs to be rotated in an infinite number of cycles, if straight baffles were added to the sides of the belt this would prevent the belt from rotating at the pivot, but without the baffles the loose material would splash around as it was transported on the belt.
 
Wavy belt edging is therefore the optimal choice, as the wavy state means that the belt has more length to be stretched as it turns, ensuring that proper operation is expected.
